Dress A Girl Around the World
BCC MISSIONS DRESS A GIRL SERVICE PROJECT FOR TAURA, EL SALVADOR
(Please click on Smilebox link below for event slideshow)
The BCC Missions Dress A Girl Around the World Event on February 4th was a huge success. Praise God! So many blessings before, during and after that have touched so many lives and will continue on. The dresses and dolls made this day will be sent on the Young Life Missions trip to Taura, El Salvador during February break. Men, women and children gathered at Browncroft Community Church to unite in this DAG service project to bless the children of Taura. The dresses made on this day were labeled in Remembrance of Laura. Laura Rider is an angel friend who battled cancer and moved to Heaven in December of 2011. Before she left she and her best friend Kristie created http://www.anaduo.org/., a charity to help Mission projects all over the world. The Ano Duo charity along with many other love donations will fund a playground that will be built during the Young Life trip. Please read Laura's story when you get a moment.
Women and children learned how to sew and make dolls at this joyous event. Friends were made, fellowship took place and Jesus was in the house! As I continue on this DAG mission mentoring under MaryJo Colligan (Angels of Mercy, Inc. Founder and Dress a Girl Representative of NY State, http://www.angelsofmercyny.org/ ) I am in awe every time I am surrounded by the loving people who donate their time, money, items, services and hearts to bless children with a dress around the world. Thank you all and I look forward to seeing you at the next event! If you would like to make dolls and/ or dresses at home or host your own event, please contact me at P: 585-670-0489 or E: mac@rochester.rr.com
Blessings,
Tara Corcimiglia

Dress A Girl Dresses Blessed Honduras
The GAP team from Browncroft Community Church just got back from Honduras. They brought with them 375 Dress A Girl Dresses and 37 boys shorts sets. All of the dresses provided to this Mission's team were handmade in honor of Mary Jo Colligan's (DAG NY Rep) sister Marissa. Marissa was murdered earlier this year, so they were made extra special in honoring love for her.
I've only learned a little so far about their trip. I can't wait to talk to them in person. What an amazing work they have done in the name of Jesus! Praise God!

Dress A Girl Dresses head to Nicaragua
Hi Friends and Family! Can you come help me at our next Dress A Girl Around the World Sewing and Doll Making Event at Browncroft Community Church! It's this Thursday, August 18th from 3p-8p. Bring your sewing machine if you have one and scissors. We are also in need of pillowcases, wide ribbon, and wide double fold bias tape. There is a no sew doll project and I need lots of cutters and people at my fashionista table! If you don't have the above just bring scissors and friends and plan to be blessed! PS: Pasta dinner will be served around 5...Come for a girls evening out to make a difference in the world! ~Tara
Please read on for more exciting news about where DAG dresses have gone!........................
My new friend Emily is a Missionary in Nicaragua. While my mother-in-law was visiting me from Georgia she packed her car with 60 Dress A Girl Dresses and Dolls. Brought them to Emily in Georgia (her home base). The following week we received photos of the girls receiving the dresses (see above). Praise God in how he connects the dots! ****************************************************
