1537 Dress A Girl Dresses for Cambodia

1537 DAG dresses are being mailed tomorrow for the November Dress A Girl Outreach Cambodia Mission trip on the OM Hope Ship.  We met at the Angels of Mercy office today to pack them all up.  An angel family has donated the shipping for the dresses....Thank you! Please pray for the little girls that will be receiving these precious handmade dresses.  Thank you to all who participated in the 10,000 dress project.  We have AMAZING dedicated sewers that support Dress A Girl here in NY.  This is an ongoing ministry, so please keep making dresses!!! We will soon have numerous missionaries that are in need of dresses for their 2012 destinations.  Please visit http://www.angelsofmercyny.org/ for a list of local DAG sewing events.

Come sew with me at the BCC DAG sewing event on Sat. Aug. 25th from 9-3p.  We will be making dolls, dresses and fund raising for the DAG Cambodia team.  ITEMS NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT:  pillow cases, cotton fabric, extra wide double fold bias tape, 1"grosgrain ribbon, yarn, prayers and YOU!  Bring friends, family and neighbors, and kids over 6.  No childcare provided for this event.  Blessings, Tara mac@rochester.rr.com

DAG news from Africa

This was shared with DAG this week.  WHAT A BLESSING!
Thank you FBBC ladies for giving to the Lord as the dresses were presented
to the babies in Bujumbura , Burundi East Africa , A country near Rwanda
after war most parents have lost HOPE. This little girl and the mother saw
HOPE and that God had not forgotten about them. This is the first time this
family have received a new dress for the baby as she has been wrapped in
torn mother clothes. Thanks to all.
