Dress A Girl Around the World

BCC MISSIONS DRESS A GIRL SERVICE PROJECT FOR TAURA, EL SALVADOR
(Please click on Smilebox link below for event slideshow)
The BCC Missions Dress A Girl Around the World Event on February 4th was a huge success.  Praise God! So many blessings before, during and after that have touched so many lives and will continue on.    The dresses and dolls made this day will be sent on the Young Life Missions trip to Taura, El Salvador during February break.  Men, women and children gathered at Browncroft Community Church to unite in this DAG service project to bless the children of Taura.  The dresses made on this day were labeled in  Remembrance of Laura.  Laura Rider is an angel friend who battled cancer and moved to Heaven in December of 2011.  Before she left she and her best friend Kristie created http://www.anaduo.org/., a charity to help Mission projects all over the world.  The Ano Duo charity along with many other love donations will fund a playground that will be built during the Young Life trip. Please read Laura's story when you get a moment.

Women and children learned how to sew and make dolls at this joyous event.  Friends were made, fellowship took place and Jesus was in the house!   As I continue on this DAG mission mentoring under MaryJo Colligan (Angels of Mercy, Inc. Founder and Dress a Girl Representative of NY State, http://www.angelsofmercyny.org/ ) I am in awe every time I am surrounded by the loving people who donate their time, money, items, services and hearts to bless children with a dress around the world.  Thank you all and I look forward to seeing you at the next event!  If you would like to make dolls and/ or dresses at home or host your own event, please contact me at P: 585-670-0489 or E: mac@rochester.rr.com
Blessings,
